*IMPORTANT UPDATE THE 2020 INDOOR SEASON*
Dear Blues Family & Guest,
Several attempts have been made to secure a location that meets the
needs of our athletes for the indoor season. Unfortunately due to the
majority of the public schools cleaning process for COVID19 it doesn’t
allow for rentals after the buildings have been cleaned for the next
day.
Therefore the indoor season may not start until January.
Our athletes safety as well as our volunteers Coaches and staff come
first. Continue to check the website for future updates.

After much consultation and guidance we have decided to postpone the start of the 2020 outdoor season. In the best interest of our athletes, coaches, admin, volunteers and families we want to insure the health and wellness of all parties during this pandemic
confusion surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). We will begin the season on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at McCluer South Berkeley (new STEAM Academy, our normal location). This delay will allow us to also mourn and homage our dear and great Mrs. Anice Mahone.
To keep in our long lasting tradition to be best prepared for the beginning of the season we will conduct uniform pre-orders via our website. Please contact the club uniform administrator @ simonetogo@sbcglobal.net to pre-order your athlete's uniform. All registration
and uniform payments MUST be paid via this website; follow the "Join Now" tab below. The next order will be submitted, March 20, 2020, please keep in mind uniform orders take 6-8 weeks to complete.

Greetings
Track Community,
This
communication comes with the deepest and most sincere sympathy, as we have to
inform you of the passing of our dear and great Mrs. Anice Mahone. Mrs. Mahone
transitioned on last evening. We, ALL, know this loss will affect the greater
track community deeply, but we are asking that you keep her family in your thoughts
and prayers as they grieve this loss. Mrs. Mahone’s legacy will forever live in
each of those she touched; she knew no stranger! Let her spirit of love, gratitude
and genuine concern be boldly displayed with those she left behind.
We
will communicate of the family’s wishes as it relates to her services.

The following is information for the 2019-2020 blues indoor track season:
The blues track indoor season is for high school athletes ONLY.
The number will be capped
at the first 25 athletes per site be it conditioning or indoor track
team. The indoor conditioning season 2019-2020 is for any athlete not in high
school on a first come first served basis.
Please note that historically the blues indoor track team
has always been only high school athletes and standard qualifying middle
schoolers. However due to a decrease in our indoor coaching staff we as
an organization have decided that we can only accommodate high school
athletes on the blues indoor team.
Safety and supervision of our athletes is our top priority when traveling during the indoor season.
